Replying to:Repairs around base of centreboard case
I have picked up an old 125 (No 1012- Rainbow Warrior) and am setting about patching it up. I have come across some wood rot along the base of the centreboard case, on the floor of the cockpit- both sides. I have scraped out the rotten wood, leaving a gap of a couple of mm. Any suggestions for treating the wood and filling the gap so as to restore structural integrity? Any suggestions welcome. Regards Peter- Dry Reaching
