Replying to:125 crew weight
Gday everyone. I currently sail a pacer with a crew that's been sailing one year, was just wondering what the optimum crew weight is for a 125. I'm about 75kg and my crew 55kg, so she would be on the lighter side for trapezing im guessing? Is 55 heavy enough to be competitive in the fleet across all wind strengths? Couple of other questions, how many builders make the foam sandwich hulls now? Finally, is there a decent market for second hand foam sandwhich boats, and are they still competitive against the brand spankers? Cheers, Simon
