Replying to:Repairs to 125
Good afternoon, I recently purchased an old 125 to have some fun with my children. On the way home the boat had a rough ride on the trailer and has a small amount of damage behind the centreboard casing on the hull (probably 1’ behind). The damage has not gone right through, though it does need repairs. If I want to repair this, what is the best method and can fibreglass be used on that section. I noted where fibreglass has been used in other areas previously. Also, I’d actually like to paint the boat rather than have the veneer look; what is the recommended procedure for this and paint?
