Return to the Forum List  Jib: furling or fixed? | Hi - I saw a 125 with a furling jib set up - any guidance on whether this is a good idea or not? Looks good to me - but unsure if it would actually be used much.

| | Re: Jib: furling or fixed? | Not for racing, I've never seen any successful boat with a furled....generally you want as much sail as possible.... but may be useful if cruising or sailing alone.
