Building a 125
Hi,

I am after information on building a foam sandwich 125. I have never used this technique before, I have however built a Sabre with plywood. Is there a mould available in Victoria? How in depth are the construction note/plans? Templates?

Who is best to email about this? If it seems to hard I still might build one using the stitch and glue method.

Any information appreciated

Damien

Re: Building a 125
If you send me an email I can send you an as yet to be approved set of instructions for foam panel construction. These are not stand alone and should be read in conjuntion with the stitch & glue, in plywood, instructions. These can be dowloaded from this website "information on 125s/downloads etc."

Re: Building a 125
Hi Damo,
There used to be a female mould in victoria which was taken of Jamie Thompsons 'Mad Cow'. The Victorian association formed a cooperative which was pumping out a huge number of Mad Cow clones. I'm not sure whether this mould is still around as one was sent to China to build cheap production boats. Doug Gandy was heavily involved with the cooperative. Unfortunately I have lost his contact details. Your best bet is to contact Jamie Thompson. 03 95718677
