Return to the Forum List Spinnaker Retrieval | Hello,
Basically every time I drop the spinnaker, the starbord sheet drops into the water and under the bow. I was wondering what i should put on the bow to stop the sheet... Any ideas?
Thanks guys

| Re: Spinnaker Retrieval | Steve,
The method I use is to glue a piece (about 10-15cm long) of very thick (2-3mm dia) weed-eater cord to the bow of my boat next to the bow chainplate. This extension stops the sheet from falling under the bow of the boat. Also when you are dropping the kite, keep pressure on the leeward sheet; this will stop it from flapping and then dropping under the bow.
